As a result, give yourself sufficient time to pack everything before your moving date.
Set A Timer For Packing

For example, instead of labeling “kitchen” on all boxes that hold kitchen items, you can label one box as “kitchen” and add a blue sticker to it. Add blue stickers to all boxes that are supposed to be unpacked in the kitchen. This level of organization will make unloading go by faster. Another helpful tip when labeling boxes is to put the room name on the top of the box and at least one of the sides.
Pack Your Boxes So They’re Full
You don’t want to leave empty spaces in your boxes because the items can easily shift during the move. Keep all your precious items from breaking by filling up the spaces with packing material, such as packing paper or biodegradable packing peanuts. Alternatively, you can fill empty spaces with soft household items. Some of the best items to use are:

- Small pillows
- Blankets
- Old shirts
- Stuffed toys
Pack Chemicals In A Separate Box
Items like your cleaning supplies, paints, and other chemicals should be packed in their own box, not with other household items. Separate cleaning chemicals, painting equipment, and your heavy tools from everything else.
